The word prompt from Bren at ryanphotography: Sepia
I am going back to the Isle of Brac, Croatia to put a bit of sepia onto a few photos as Brac has a certain old world charm. I hope you enjoy my efforts in applying sepia toning with a couple using vignette as well.

A tall masted schooner in the harbour
An old rock wall in the village
One of the many vehicles that are used to drive around the island. Yes it does still go

Go to Beckys you really need to get some roof photos
Yes, it’s time again for a photo challenge in Square format. This month Becky, at the Life of B, has chosen rooves or perhaps roofs if you prefer. The first of June will see a lot of photos of all manner of roofing. Check them out at Becky’s place.
I have been looking at rooves for quite a while so many will be from the archives with a smattering of new photos especially for Becky.
I thought I would start with a roof favourite. Looking down on a roof in Split, Croatia.

As the year winds down, Paula has asked not for a difficult photo challenge, but for the best submitted to Lost in Translation for 2017.
I have chosen the photo that Paula found special in 2017 with the word prompt Nautical from the Pick a Word in August. It almost matches Paulas photo as mine is from Rovinj as well
I am looking forward to more of my friend Paulas photo challenges in 2018 as it was a Pick a Word way back in February that started me with photo challenges. In case you didn’t see this blog, have a look at Something happened in 2017
It’s a pity this photo challenge only happens once a month as it’s my favourite. This month Lost in Translation has supplied some words and here are my pictures.
Have a look at what other photographers have supplied to the words at Lost in Translation
The Daily Post prompt Windows made me think of the windows I have looked out of and looked into and looked at.
