Pick a Word – September 2021

Lost in Translation – Thursdays Special – Pick a Word September 2021

Paulas words made me think for a while. This morning the Female Satin Bowerbirds came into the garden looking for a bit of nectar from the Yamba Sunshine Grevillea which was fortuitous for reachable.

REACHABLE

I have a few photos of boats but this sailing boat in Genoa was the best for docked

DOCKED

Linkage had to be a chain and a rusty one is even better

I couldn’t find anything straight away and then I remembered the horses who had a short disagreement. I don’t know what infuriated one of them

INFURIATED

Last week on a walk in the park prior to another lockdown at my besties area, I found a hat on a post and thought “that may come in handy” and here is a post behatted

When One Door Closes….

The photo challenge from Travelling at Wits End: When One Door Closes

I must admit I have a door fetish when travelling in Europe. I had to stop myself from posting too many. But you can’t have too many door photos can you?

Cars Trucks and Motorcycles

Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Cars Trucks and Motorcycles

I have had a look around my folders to find some Trucks
The old truck that has been part of my street forever it seems

It’s time for the Motorcycles
In my past life, I used to work on the tack at the motorcycle races as a flag marshal. One of the best jobs as you are right beside the track. These are from the mid seventies. Yes I always had my camera with me in those days too except the photos were selective as it was film and cost a bit to get processed. These photos are in colour and scanned to black and white
