It has been fun finding songs for Sarah’s 30 Days 30 Songs Challenge

There is so many more songs I want to share but again I have delved into the past for a band I really like, Roxy Music. I had a man crush on Bryan Ferry. I have included two songs, one from 1973 and one from 1982.

This song is so different from Roxy Musics other songs. This is the original band – Bryan Ferry, Brian Eno, Phil Manzanera, Andy McKay, Paul Thompson, John Wetton and Eddie Jobson.

The next one is a rather slicker version of Roxy Music. This band was Bryan Ferry, Phil Manzanera, John Thompson, Alan Spenner, Andy McKay, Jimmy Maelen, Neil Hubbard

Before and After Photograph Challenge – June 2019

Sue’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Edit

Bren supplies a photo for us to play with and edit as we see fit. I did so many changes and didn’t write down what I did to one photo and the other mainly altered the photo to black and white.

Sue wants to know if we edit our photos before inserting into a post. Sometimes I do but mainly when converting to black and white. Some photos do get cropped to get a better view of the subject or to remove an element that distracts or isn’t part of the image I had in mind.

Here is a combination of both photo challenges. The program I use is Corel PaintShop Pro Ultimate 2019

This is my first edit. Convert to black and white, increase the black, reduce the overall brightness, increase contrast and add a vignette

My second edit. I removed some elements. Can you guess? From then on I just started to look at the effects. I used one called Time Machine which changed the photo to around the 1900’s look, applied selective focus, a bit of colour enhancement and increased the black.
