Debbie’s One Word Sunday:
I’m going with Debbie’s alternate word Spiral so try not to get too dizzy or a case of vertigo. Just in case have a listen to a bit of Eric Clapton
The well worn stairs of our Paris apartment
Spiral stairs go round
Shiny and new so round you go.
A new spiral of life
A long process for art
Down the spiral stairs with a cascade of bubble lights
2020 Photo Challenge #21 This week's assignment - Use strong backlighting (i.e. shooting towards the light source, but
do not look directly at the sun) to create a contre-jour image where the subject becomes a silhouette, OR shoot the light through flowers or leaves creating a transparent effect.
One for using the sun
One for using the Moon
and lets go inside too. I think black and white works better for this scene
and showing the structure of leaves
The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #80:
Down the hallway
To the windows
Follow the bicyclist
Down the road
Up and down the road
On the train to nowhere
Over the bridge
Over the pond
Japanese Gardens Toowoomba
Up the stairs
Down the stairs
Leading you along the beach
Day sixteen of Becky’s Square Photo Challenge:
Lines and Squares
Day nine of Becky’s Square Photo Challenge:

The One Word Sunday Photo Challenge from Debbie:
Once you find the stairs
You have to climb just to see what you can see
Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge:
Not quite the vanishing point I was after
This one works a bit better I think
My cameras battery was almost out so this one was taken without being able to see what I was trying to get
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge:
Stairs or Steps
A version of Stairway to Heaven that made people cry
The quote to inspire from Debbie at
Travel with Intent
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”
– Lao Tzu
Sometimes that step can be daunting.
Whether you look up
to see what could lay ahead.
perhaps to touch the stars.
Or look down
into the depths of darkness.
Making sure each step
is taken with care.
that step can one of light
showing the way.
Always try to take that step,
sometimes that step can be daunting.
