Last on the Card – February 2022

Last Photo for February 2021

How was your last day of Summer or your Winter wherever you are? Did you take any photos? Some people have commented that they didn’t take a photo since early in the month and wouldn’t be doing a post. But I say, the last photo you took will be the last photo you took for February so join in the fun.

Thank you to everyone who contributes their good and not so good photos. Like a lot of people, I forget and am surprised at what was the last photo on the three devices I use to take photos. I went from –

  • test run of macro lens attachment
  • a surprise when the flash went off
  • trying to capture the rain

So let’s see what you have for February 2021

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 28th February.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”

Here’s mine

  1. I can’t share this month, Brian, as my last photo was of a friend’s very large hernia. He was supposed to have it fixed today so I took a ‘before’ photo yesterday morning. Unfortunately, the op has been cancelled 🙄

        1. I did a big bury the remains of some of the freezer that was not saveable Will look at the top drawer tomorrow which is the pre-made meals, pies etc but I think they will have to go as well. The croissants will be breakfast 😋

        2. Yes but probably would be more in the whatchmacallit. The State govt is providing $1000 to flood affected people so I may be eligible for that which would cover things. The phone company is giving discounts for loss of phone service. I’ll be ok either way. The Strawberry Jam was unopened in the pantry Bonne Mamon 😋

  3. The Golden Lycra is lovely, sort of a cross between a lily and an azalea! Hope you have escaped all the heaviest rain Brian. Some of it has come over here, for a change!

      1. I’ve just read the other comments and your other post. It’s dreadful what damage rain can do, and wind. Thousands of people here list power for days due to storm damage, and Internet access. When you live in an area with poor mobile phone coverage it’s really tough. We dread storms as we have only electricity for heating and cooking.

Glad that you are safe, but sorry to hear about K’s daughter. Hope it all blows over soon

        1. Thanks Jude. I am glad that I am rather self sufficient with most things, gas cooking etc its the no fans when it was humid at night was the worse as I couldn’t compete with the insects. I am sure things will work out eventually but it will take weeks or even months for Lismore.

  4. I love the second shot. Hope you get power and phone back soon. The whole of Tasmania was without internet yesterday….thanks to civil works that accidently severed the cables! I tried to use my phone as a hot spot but it was futile. Otherwise have a great week and take some more stunners for us!

  5. Interesting post bushboy. I alongside all the other people in the line of “I didn’t take any photos” hadn’t took any photos well not like these. I like to take photos of myself and my clothes since I love fashion.

Good post nonetheless! There are plenty of images to snap this year👌✔️
