The horse draw tram

Ludwig’s Monday Windows March 21

This tram is a reproduction of the trams that ran in 1894 at Victor Harbour, South Australia. This tram was built in 1986 and runs today regularly from 10:30am with the 4pm tram the last one. The Victor Harbour Tram operates from the mainland across the 630 metres long Causeway to Granite Island.

Here is the story of the horses that pull the tram.
