I just saw Paula’s words and am looking forward to playing along in due course. You’ve done a great matching job! I especially like ‘rosy’ and ‘seedy’ 🙂

The chick – only a mother can love a creature like that. But it feels oddly huggable (although it very probably isn’t). The colour in the seedy picture is awesome, a very satisfying orange. I like the floating boats best though, as if they were sitting on a mirror!

Thank you ever so much Elke 🥰 That Noisy Friarbird chick was carrying on attracting my attention but yes a “only a mother can love” looking bird 😂
I went through a lot of floating ideas but the yachts was the one that said, pick me 😁

I had to look up precocial, but yours is an apt choice. But then, they all are!

I had to look it up as well. I sorta guessed from Paulas photo but had to make sure 😁 Only a mother could love a Noisy Friarbird chick

ooh, please tell what kind of bird is the Rosy? And the first image I like. It seems like it is on portrait mode, and sharpened the center so they look like toy boats.

Thanks Crystal. That bird is an adorable Rose Robin, it’s almost time they came through here for this season 😀

You really like Split, don’t you? I always love your bird photos, but your seedy is just wonderful. It really stands out 🙂 Marvelous, Brian. Thank you for not closing comments as yet ❤

I loved my short 3 days in Split 😀
Thank you for your lovely comment ❤️🥰
I did the 30 day close comments to stop the hundreds of spam I was getting. I tried turning it off for one post to see what happened. In less than an hour I had six spam comments 🙄
I hope all is well Paula xx

As much as I love so much your bird photos, I have to say that your seedy really stands out. Marvelous entry ❤
