6. These are awesome! I always enjoy finding and photographing fungi. Each makes a magical microworld. Never seen one so red as those you got before though.

   1. Thanks Mason, that red fungi really caught my eye, luckily it was near my house so was an easy find and photo 🙂

      1. That was lucky. The closest species in the UK would be a scarlet waxcap I think. never seen any that red here, but the name I give comes from my fungi identification book.

7. Yes, I’d definitely call those clusters. All inedible, I suppose? None of them look very lunch-able.

8. The first one are especially interesting but I like them all. It was fun to hunt for edible mushrooms in France and, since my sister-in-law knew which ones were good to eat, it was also safe…and delicious!!

      1. In France you can take them to a pharmacy to find out which are safe and which not. Quite useful if you’re not an expert.
