Cee’s Black and White Challenge: Smaller than a Bread Box or Bread Bin

Now just to be sure I had to include my bread bin again so you know the scale Cee wants

A small turtle one of my girls made

A little Grey Fantail sits on a gate maybe looking for food for the family

Grey Fantail chicks are always hungry

Meanwhile, an ant has a drink of water. I don’t know what their real name is, I just call them gold bums

  1. Thanks for the scale reference Brian – I love your bread box! For some reason, it made me think of my grandmother’s bread box (hers had a slidey lid and I loved to play with it when I was little) – she didn’t actually keep bread in ti because Singaporean weather is too humid and the bread gets mouldy very quickly! Now that I am saying this, I’m not quite sure why she had a bread box in the first place.

    1. Thanks Ju-Lyn. Mine is used in Summer for a few days then into the fridge for the same reason. Winter time the bread is in there for longer. It’s a bright red box that sits on the bench in a cool part of the kitchen.
Maybe grandmother just liked the bread box. I collect boxes so I can understand the fascination 🙂 🙂
