Last Photo for September 2021
It’s that time again to get those last photos out and show the world. Thank you to everyone who contributes their good and not so good photos. Like a lot of people I forget and am surprised at what was the last photo on the three devices I use to take photos. I went from –
- a bit out of focus
- a shaky shot
- not the best angle
So let’s see what you have for September 2021
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th September
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
Here’s mine
From my Samsung Galaxy S9

From my Canon PowerShot A1200

From my Canon PowerShot SX70HS

I love your photos – they really capture the feeling of early spring. Here’s my contribution. https://mappinguncertainty.wordpress.com/2021/10/01/last-photo-for-september/

Those are lovely. Lousy weather yesterday mean that the last shot I took was the one I planned for Becky’s Squares. So … I’ve squared it. Sorry! https://margaret21.com/2021/10/01/defeated-dragon/

Squaring is OK so forgiven 🙂

Cute chicks – they always look as if they tried out mum’s lipstick!
Here are my two photos: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2021/10/01/last-on-the-card-in-september/
I don’t really use my phone as a camera as such, I use it to photograph assignments for my students and sometimes to show something to a friend rather than “making a photo”.

That is a good description 🙂 My phone photos are the same, mainly to show someone something not to take a photo. My photo of the chicks was at least a week old.

Thanks for the challenge and for your photos. Once again I enjoyed discovering what I have to offer! Unofficially, that is the biggest carrot I have grown in my entire life. I have artfully arranged the turnip and radishes so you can’t tell they are half eaten by beasties. Here it is: https://mariadonovan.com/blog/

That was one of mine a while ago, my pumpkin munched 😦 Glad you like this challenge Maria. Arrangement has a lot to do with good food photos 🙂

You’re right about the arranging, Brian. Sorry for the multiple comments … It didn’t seem to be working but I kept trying … Oh dear!

Once again, thanks for the challenge and for your photos. I enjoyed the surprise of finding my ‘still life from the allotment’. My finger for scale. Here is mine! https://mariadonovan.com/blog/

Again I had to cheat a little, by adding more than one photo, but the last one is included and left as taken. This is how I said goodbye to my uncle who returned to Slovenia yesterday:

Sad to see Uncle go but it looked like you had a wonderful time 🙂

Nice earthy shots, Brian. And I have a pink Dendrobium Nobile, I love that white one.

Thanks Clare. I only saw it as I was heading out as it is hanging down among a lot of foliage 🙂

I began planning to do this yesterday, but then I started taking more pictures today and then there was dinner and then there was processing the pictures and finally, I realize I’m running out of time and I really have to focus and POST something. This explains (or doesn’t really) why these are a day late and the other two will be two days late. But it really is fun. I’m just having a hard time focusing lately.

My last photo will be up tomorrow and it was taken on 25 September! Rain since then has stopped all play with the camera. Though I did miss a rather lovely rainbow. Oh, well.

Loved these Brian. So the question is, are you thinking about making the last image on your cameras something special or do you really just go with the flow and whatever it is it is?

I just go with whatever it is Tina. A lot of the time, especially wit my small camera and phone it turns out to be a surprise for me 🙂
