Our world (it’s fragile)

Sunday Stills: Continuously Moved by the #Earth

Our world is revolving
constantly evolving,
a planet, a fragile bubble
in the sky

Browns and greens coloured hues
even white lots of blues
a planet, a fragile bubble
in the sky

Is she to be stripped bare
by those who don’t care.
Will you watch her bleed
or cheer the greed
Take a stand
she needs your hand
Mother Earth
IS. OUR. LIFE.

      1. Yes, that happened the first year for Earth Day. We got a free seedling from the grocery store for Earth Day; I think it was a pine seedling, we nurtured it an entire year before planting it and poof – it was gone almost immediately. That is the problem about Earth Day – perhaps coin it as “Earth conscious” instead.

    1. Thank you very much Terri 🥰
It was fortuitous that the local Ag Show was on last week and a stall had all these different balloons. I took quite a number trying to get the world in a different spot each time and it was windy.
      All balloon photos kept 6
All balloon photos deleted 23 😂

  1. Such lovely and beautiful words of wisdom Brian! I’m glad to read Terri’s question as to where the balloons came from and I chuckled at the number of photos you took and how many you kept. Kind of like properly weeding a garden to keep what will survive and thrive, eh? I hope the balloons were properly destroyed, some events let them go in the air and where do they end up! 😏🤔

    1. Thanks ever so much Shelley 🥰 Once sold at the Show who knows what happened to them once sticky little fingers had hold.
A friends granddaughter, about 4 at the time, wanted a free balloon in the shopping centre. Was told to hang onto it as she didn’t want a wrist tie. The tears at the balloon bopping against the shopping centre ceiling many metres above. I dislike the release the balloon to the heavens for their loved ones. What so the dead can sound like Micky Mouse 🙄

      1. Balloons are cool, but they do have their downsides like you described. Aw, the poor little girl, I bet she cried.
I’ve never really understood the balloon release – I couldn’t make sense of what would happen to them and why do it in the first place.
