Last Photo for February 2024
Your last photo doesn’t have to be on the very last day of the month if you didn’t take any photos on that day. Maybe it was earlier in the month when the last photo was taken.
So let’s see what you have for February
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 29th or whenever your last photo was taken.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Use the tags The Last Photo and #LastOnTheCard
Here’s mine. Last months photos funnily enough have flowers
From my Samsung Galaxy S23FE
From my Canon PowerShot SX70HS
From my Canon EOS 1300D
Cee’s FOTD
Wonderful idea Lou and great plants to use, they all look happy.
Thanks for joining in 😀

The Golden Lycras appeared at the right time. I think there was a photo of them last year’s February too.
The Protea is at a mates place

This must be a regular time for these flowers to bloom. Wonderful.

I love February’s Floral Fun on a Miserable March Morning. Here’s mine, though I have no idea why WP has made my feature – and only – photo so tiny. It’s not a winner, as photos go, so maybe that’s why: https://margaret21.com/2024/03/01/februarys-final-fuzzy-photo/

Thanks Margaret, perhaps a very harsh critic went there first. I’ll have to see if I can find your post in reader as Eke said its bigger

All very odd, WP’s take on our posts.

Me too. I used to mind, but these days, I just shrug and move on.

Golden Lycra are gentle flowers. You can pinch that one if you want and do a Jez on it. It would be interesting to see 👍😀

A nice selection of plants for this month Brian😎👍Nice to see a Protea – they sometimes appear in bunches of flowers at our local supermarket. Lovely Lillie at the bottom😀 Here’s my rather rail dominated set of last on card’s – https://2e0mca.wordpress.com/2024/03/01/last-on-the-card-february-2024/

Oh a protea, nice! For personal reasons, I couldn’t post anything the last month but I saw the moon from my bedroom window yesterday: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2024/03/01/last-for-february-2024/

Hi BB, Both of your flowers are delightful. That red one isn’t one that I recognize.

Thank you Marsha, I would have thought that Proteas would be a staple in most florists, they seem to be in the rest of the world.
Golden Lycras are lovely in the garden but don’t last well as cut flowers 🙂
LikeLiked by 1 person
Sadly, I seldom buy cut flowers. I buy them for funerals over the phone and have them sent. I am very allergic to something in them, and going into a florist shop or having cut flowers at home is an infliction rather than a blessing.

That is so sad, especially for Vince, as that would cut out a host of opportunities to say I love you, I’m sorry and for just being you 😁

I bet you are full of emotions again. Must write.
Here is the usual Thanks for joining in 😀
But it is a rather special share, thank you dearest Becky 🥰

You are right very mixed emotions, but mostly positive which is why I had to share with you. There was also a sign as the board changed on the last day of Feb xx

It was a sign. Glad you have found the positive vibe, a bit of happiness showed through in the post with a touch of sadness.
My power went off yesterday afternoon so nothing was done last night. I was asleep when the power came back on a few hours ago. I have been awake since 3am but have had a good nights sleep. Nothing to do in the dark although I did do a lovely job placing candles around the house for ease of movement between rooms xx

Yikes about power. I’m so out of touch, have you had storms or are there other reasons. At least candles create a nice light 🙂
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes there has been very hot days and afternoon storms, only some rain here as the clouds drift past.
Yesterday evenings storm was thunder and lightning with bursts of heavy rain.
The house did look lovely. I tried to take some photos but failed to get the homeness feel x

Forgotten what heat is, but rain is incessant this winter.

Soon you’ll be on about how hot it is 😂
The storm over the past three days have taken the power out, yesterday from 5:30 Friday until 1:30pm Sunday 😲

Great flowers. What are the flowers in the first photo called? I’ve not seen them before.

Thanks Rebecca, it is a Protea, a native flower from Africa, which is in a lot of flower arrangements from florists in Australian and other places but by the looks of comments, not in the USA

I love seeing the colorful flowers as I have a case of spring fever. 🤣 I do like the light through the branches, that’s a cool photo. I thought of you in the last photo I took in February – it was almost as warm as it gets in your neck of the woods. 😊

The flowers have been good this summer, so lots of flower photos. That is my front verandah light and a Bamboo Palm 😀

Wow – that’s warm! The flowers do love warmth and humidity.
It’s a welcoming light with a bit of mystery – does it attract bugs or small lizards from the palm? 🤔

No it’s just a light hat’s on when I am outside or people are arriving. I put it on every now and then to attract insects for the Geckos to have a feed 🙂
