The Wednesday Word Prompt: Spontaneity
How often do you
pick up a pen
find the paper
and spontaneously
let your mind
just draw
lines that travel
lines that are free
lines that join
shapes created
I see people
a hug
I see a bed
I see
oh what
is that what you saw
the lines that bend
the lines that shape
floors
walls
ceilings
three dimensions
follow a line
until exhaustion
rest
pick up a pen
nice poem, reminds my of many people’s mind 🙂

Taking your pencil for a walk. I often do that, but on the computer and afterwards I fill the shapes with colours. Next time I will take more notice of the shapes within the pattern.
Thank you Brian. 🙂

I used to do it with the very little ones at school. It was mouse control learning how to fill colour without touching the line They loved it and now I find it therapeutic.

That is what I do with my silhouettes. Yes quite Zen 🙂

You have set me off again and I think it’s time for more of the same. Zen… bring it on!

The last time I did this was in a gallery in Leeds where they were encouraging us to do it! Such fun . . maybe I should do it again 🙂

I love how many galleries have this as part of the gallery. The one near my place had around six tablets set up around a still life. When you finish you can email the drawing to yourself 🙂
