All Time Favourites

This is a sad post. The Daily Post, where a lot of people interact with words and photos is closing. I am hoping the Daily Post can keep going. It takes a lot of work to maintain such a fantastic blog site. Please please find a way of staying. I have found lots of people who do fantastic stuff and people have found my bit of the world as well.

Welcome to the final installment of the Weekly Photo Challenge. In wishing you a fond farewell, we wanted to share our all-time favorite photos with you. We welcome you to share your favorites with us. Happy photographic trails!

I think a slideshow would be the best way to dig out some of my favourites if I can decide which ones.

  1. What a great collection and variety. The flowers – particularly the orange waxy ones and the white bloom at night, the birds – the stunning kingfisher, the close-up of the pelican, and that black, white throated squaller (that’s just a description, not the actual name). And oh, that duck!!

    1. It is a Whipbird. I love that duck as well 🙂 Thanks for your comment. A Frangipanni flower, a Moon Flower. The Forest Kingfisher is a wonderful flash of blue as it flies through the garden 🙂

  2. Where is the LOVE button? Who is the bird with the yellow eye and how did you capture him like that looking straight at you? Wonderful Brain, thank you for the show as I drank my morning coffee

    1. That’s great Lisa. A morning coffee and a stroll through my world. Of course it’s just dumb luck to get the bird looking. I didn’t include some others that were looking too 🙂
