That was a quest for quite a while. They are often in the wetlands around Ulmarra when they are on a migratory stop over. A quick U-turn and snap. Would love to see more

You have such a wonderful variety of birds around your place. The bottom photo is just gorgeous. Mixed feelings about Paul McCartney & Wings though. I had that album, but could never really get enthusiastic about them as a band.

Thanks Graham 🙂 A Blue-faced Honeyeater and a Honey Gem Grevillea are always a winner.
I was will I or won’t I about the song. Not overly keen on it either. Some tracks are OK

Just love the way the Babbler makes his feelings known! 😂

Babblers are just that. There is constant chatter as a group will walk in the forest kicking over rock and sticks looking for snacks.

I still like that blue-faced honeyeater best. That eye section is magnificent.
But I’m puzzled about the assignment: a B in their name. All birds have Bs in their name: Robbie, Robert, Biggles, Abdullah, Abby, Abigail, … your imagination sets the limits 😉

Thanks Elke 🙂 that blue is stunning at mating time. I guess they do all have a B in their names 😀
