A wonderful plant that grows on my place, Lolly Bush Clerodendrum floribundum The fruit is a black drupe, growing on an enlarged red fleshy calyx. It appears glossy and succulent, giving rise to the common name “lolly bush”. The perfume is intoxicating too attracting butterflies and native bees
Here’s a Lollipop for you for being so good
I love plants like that. They ooze allure for insects.

The first time I found them on my place I was attracted by the allure as well 😁 They smell so divinely lolly shop 😋

What a lush photo. Can you eat the fruit?

Thanks Judy 😀 What looks like a lolly but you cant eat it but birds can, that’s why in the photo there is only one drupe left

I remembered, I remembered but then I laughed as by the time I was ready to leave my comment the music had stopped. A short piece of music to enjoy a lolly pop or lolly bush!
What a great plant, and superb interpretation 🙂
