CFFC: Things that are Rough
A piece of sandstone carved to fit roughly one hundred and fifty years ago.
The feel of a hessian coffee bean bag
Who would have though that one day I would find and use a photo of a bone on a wooden bridge with a rusty nut and washer. If you found that, wouldn’t you take a photo?
The old water tank. Used to be smooth galvanised tin
Your tyres are on the way
Some days are Rough and Rowdy Days
When upside down is inside out
You know you need some help
Yes I would take that photo, but not the tires. They wouldn’t fit my car; they’re bigger than it is!

The process of changing one of those tyres would be amazing. I was suspired that the air pressure depends on load starting at 60psi and full load only 95psi. I don’t know about tyres I thought it would have been higher

I don’t really understand tires. On my little car, the tire pressures are all 35psi. On my larger, heavier small SUV, the pressures are 28psi in front and 26 psi in the rear. How does that work?

That is weird. My ute has small truck tyres and they are 36psi all round. I get around 40 to 50,000 kms out of them. It’s a rough 3km drive in and out to go anywhere on a gravel road

That off-roading will do them in for sure.

love that you captured the essence of so many texture, I can feel them. Is the jute from a sack of rice? And that bone… how curious!

Those giant tires are the biggest ones I’ve ever seen.
Are they tractor tires?

Here in the Detroit area we have the huge Uniroyal tire, made of fiberglass and originally was at the World’s Fair as a ferris wheel.
When Paul M and Wings played here years ago, the group posed in front of it – these three photos:
