I thought you were trying to scare me with that first photo – a sort of Hallowe’en image – but of course when I pulled back from it and switched it on the old magic began to work and it wasn’t scary it was a lullaby!

Very 1972 – aren’t the words just so well crafted
“Could a Copper catch a crooked coffin-maker,
Could a Copper comprehend
That a crooked coffin-maker’s just an undertaker
Who undertakes to be your friend” 🙂

Very clever. They looked like they were having a lot of fun playing the music.

Song made me smile even though it is about a tough life

The words are a treat. We tried to sing it but gave up. Not the most of cheerful songs

They certainly are – although having said that a crisp homemade sausage roll at Christmas is rather yummy 😋

Have to wait until it’s a bit cooler before lighting the oven

I wish it would hurry up and cool down so I can light the oven

So tell me….lamb wrapped in filo sounds great, but lamb takes a time to cook, doesn’t the filo get burnt??
LikeLiked by 1 person
Never done it before. Slow cook and turn up at the end to crisp the filo. May have to baste with water if it looks like going pear shape

Well I guess I’m a certain age since I remember this well. That first image is still terrifying though!

I was humming this the other day, as I crossed through the Tyne Tunnel. It’s better without the words!!!
And I love the fogy photos. Have a great weekend, Brian

Thanks Debbie. I think I would have started to sing as well. It’s been rather hot today, waiting for the cool. Have a fab one too 🙂 🙂
