Thanks for your support for this photo challenge. Over this year so many people enjoyed this photo challenge with twenty-eight people posted their last photo for August. Maybe September will have more posts and great last photos. Keep them coming to we all can enjoy those wonderful and perhaps not so wonderful images.
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th September.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
Here’s mine from my phone playing with a macro lens attachment with an Orchid that is flowering at the moment

and from my camera

Do join in and let’s see what you have as your last photo for 30 September
Both lovely images Brian.
I will do better with the rules next month. But here is this month’s attempt.

From a photographers eye there is a lot not quite right with those images. Focus, balance, lighting for just a few

Well it is a pretty orchid even if it is not your best shot. I have enough trouble with the macro lens on my camera (which I can at least keep steady(ish)) without trying some fiddly attachment to a phone so well done! As you enter spring we enter autumn, though currently it is pretending to be winter 😯 Mine will be with you tomorrow, but I’m afraid I have cheated a little… 😍 Stay well! Stay safe!

Yes it doesn’t really cover the lens. Maybe I had it for a previous phone. Winter is still here tonight. Single figures overnight for quite a few weeks. Should be a bit warmer tomorrow. You have cheated….oh Jude tsk tsk…..

I didn’t even know there were added lenses for phones, not for my flip phone though! Here’s my last shot: https://grahamsisland.com/2020/10/01/irrigation/

Maybe not but look online they just clip on. Mine don’t quite cover the lens fully so I guess I have had them since the previous phone. Shall look at your in a sec.

I still had my CD card in my reader so it is very easy to find that last photo. Just as well because that night came the wind and rain and the next day, the leaves were gone.

That’s part of the charm of the challenge, not to be precious about the photos and post them regardless of quality, part of the fun aspect 🙂

Love the bokeh on your second orchid Brian. Looks like the lens does a very nice job! ( or was it the photographer?) 😊

Oops – I’m first to admit I know hardly anything about flowers. Tulips, roses, sunflowers, daisies – that’s about it!
