Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge: Fences and Gates
I went to my daughters pace today. A drive through the countryside from my patch of forest to her patch of forest. I go through a small town on the way so took the opportunity to grab a few shots in the town and some fences and gates along the roads.
The first one I see as I head down the road that has a bit of character. On the left see the old wagon a bit obscured by the rails. You would have seen that a few of my posts in the past.
I didn’t drive around the town just took a couple of gates along the way.
I love this gate
This fence stretches a fair way. The gate looks like it has seen better times
Further along stands these impressive cattle yards. This is only a small part of them.
This gate has been here for as long as I can remember. You have to open and close it to head to the river crossing.
A few years ago I posted this tree which raised a few comments. The wires used to go across the tree and the tress decided to incorporate then into its trunk. I am glad it is still there.
I thought I should show you the tree from the past
Couldn’t resist putting in Grass Trees from my place
