The one word prompt from the Daily Post: Tender

What could be more tender than the love of a mother and her baby or in this case the love of a Red-necked Wallaby and her Joey. This encounter was in my garden.

“Hey Mum, I have an itch I can’t reach.”

“Here, I’ll take care of that darned itch.”

“Is that better?”

“Thanks Mum.”
