I would be very remiss if I didn’t use my lovely Red-necked Wallabies who hop around my garden and lovingly tend their Joeys for Paulas photo challenge – Female.
This young female is so pretty don’t you think?
But also camera shy.
“What are you doing in there?”
“It’s OK Mum, I’m just chilling”
One day you will have some fur on those skinny arms.
“Mums pouch is the best place to be”
This is what happens in my street…..or road actually. I liked the prompt from Dutch Goes The Photo as my street isn’t like anyone elses street, OK perhaps a few.
This is what can happen in my street. Occasionally some of the farmers in my area need to move cattle from one place to another. This time it was a rural event called a Camp Draft where riders try to move cattle in a set pattern.
Here is My Street
As I came out of my driveway, this is what I saw down the road.
Sending the cattle through the gate.
The horse wondered what I was doing also making sure I got its best side.
The dog was working hard.

Traces of the Past
My little piece of history may be thousands of years old as the Aboriginal culture is the oldest culture in history. I discovered these artifacts on my property many years ago. On a walk with friends I first came upon the stone hand axe or cutting tool. The photos don’t really show the sharpness the edge. When I first picked the tool up, it fitted into my hand so wonderfully well.
The second discovery was made a while later. It is the stone that was used to chip off bits of stone to make the hand axe possibly. Again the smooth roundness of the back fitted into my hand perfectly.

Thank you Cee for making me really have a good think about this challenge. The letter W has many possibilities but the letter X!!!!
I though of the many window photos I have so it was hard to cut them down to just a few. These are from my travels in Italy.
I love the old window shutters.
Windows with window sills filled with flowers are lovely.
Some window just have one container of flowers
Now for the letter X. How many of you used to get a torch and do an X-ray of your fingers when you were kids?

Cee’s Photo Challenge using the letters U or V. We are getting closer to the end of the alphabet and these letters really had me thinking.

Every seagull needs an Umbrella on a hot Australian day at the beach
What Vehicle would be the most appropriate for the letter V!!! Only a VW would do. This is my besties sons which one day will be resuscitated.
