I used to love typewriters – I was fascinated from a young age so hardly surprising I took to word processing, and consequently computing so easily. 🙂

I thought being a Daisy Wheel typewriter was fun. I remember when they came out

I think learning to type on a manual typewriter might have been the most-valuable class I ever had to be honest. I like this vintage style you have here.

Probably was a good thing but boys weren’t allowed to go anywhere near a typewriter

Come to think of it, only girls were in my 9th grade typing class. I don’t know if large, gaudy rings were popular around 1968-70 there, but Ms. Miller made us remove them as soon as we got into class as she said they slowed down our typing.

A lot of jewellery wasn’t allowed anyway. I don’t remember any of the girls wearing big rings

It was a passing fad her in the late 60s here. We had a lot of clothing fads going on at that time – bell bottoms, go go boots, fishnets, peace symbols, those rings. 🙂

Totally awesome. What a work of art. Lovely to hear one of my favourite Beatles songs too.
