Yes, very cool. I have only taken one dragonfly (or damselfly) pic in my life and it landed on the ground and didn’t move … that’s why. I’ve not seen one in red.

Some times they do that. Like my photo. some dragonflies like to use the one perch (hence their name Perchers) that dragonfly would take off, fly about for a while, then come back and sit for moment for about 10 minutes that I hung around for any way.

That’s interesting Brian – ours seem to flit about, then dart away. The different colors of the dragonflies are much easier to see if they perch or hover. Most of the dragonflies I see are almost transparent, so difficult to photograph.
