Last on the Card – June 2023

Last Photo for June 2023

Everyone who contributes their good and not so good photos has fun I hope. I enjoy seeing your photos. Thanks to those being brave enough to show everyone your last photo or photos from your phone and camera.
It doesn’t have to be on the very last day of the month if you didn’t take any photos. Maybe it was earlier in the month when the last photo was taken.

So let’s see what you have for June 2023

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th June or whenever your last photo was taken.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Use the tags The Last Photo and #LastOnTheCard

Here’s mine. Last months photos really is a mixed bag.

  1. Well I want that pizza! Ah the bird in the tree is lovely in its way and the sky is beautiful. Can’t believe we are here again already. Am wondering what on earth I have on my phone!

  2. I’ve got a sky shot as last one on the phone, too. It was kind of a deliberate “last on the card” because while we were driving to a restaurant last night, I noticed that I had not taken any photos on my phone for a whole month. So I kept clicking while we walked from the parking lot (the restaurant’s name was The Paradise – a promise not kept but that’s another story). When we got out I was greeted with the view I’m sharing (the full view including the road is on Hammad’s Weekend Sky, the penultimate shot). Now let’s look forward to July. Your bird seems to be doing that.

    1. I am glad that you thought of last on the card. Some restaurants names are a give away at times. Watch out for “El Paradisio” Then you know you could have found a shocker.
Yes onward, follow the finch. He’ll know where the best seed spots are

    1. Cold for breakfast is rather respectable Sue. It was delish 😋
All round I would give a 5 ⭐ The pizza was excellent, cooked just right. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much trouble. The pairing of a Riparosso 2019 and pizza was just right. Italian red wine always a must with pizza. The setting was lovely. I had a table near the fire on a very chilly night. I was even offered a knee rug if I felt a bit cold. I have eaten here a thousand times and it is always different.
Ooops, this is not the right site. Oh well

      1. Brian! email the review to me and I’ll publish it. Just what I need. I forgot to put today’s review on the schedule. 😄 Seems I no longer remember how to do three things at once! 🙂

      2. I was too busy to give your review another thought until this morning. Then I began thinking about what you had written, then it hit me! Just to be certain, I doubled checked the date; Is it April 1st? I asked myself.

I was so excited about receiving another review for my Secret Diners website that I failed to pick up on the address of the Bush Retreat. I hadn’t even noticed that the delicious-looking pizza was sitting on a stovetop instead of a table. Even the invitation-only didn’t throw me, I had assumed it was one of those private group dinners that are popular these days.

What a pity; it would have made a great review – private dining in the bush! 😢

        1. I’m sorry. I guess there was a small amount of bias and all of the staff was just me 😁 I guess it was also not really the truth about dinners either. I only supply breakfast. I have made meals for people I felt sorry for. They probably get a pasta meal 😀

  3. A nice mixed batch. I can’t play this month. I’m not at home, so can’t download camera shots, and my phone is stuffed with family photos of the grandchildren.. Back next month!

    1. It was so good Shelley. I was deciding whether to cut it into eight or six slices. Then I thought, I wasn’t hungry enough for eight slices, so I cut it into six slices 😁 There were leftovers.
Things are going OK. Trying to keep on top of firewood cutting as it’s getting quite cold, even a -1C the other morning. Still have a bit of the flu hanging around or it’s hayfever as the wattles are starting to flower. Happy July Shelley 🙂
