Marvellous. We DID see Pelicans on our Balkan adventure – lots of them. But never as close as this.

That’s a shame. I love Pelicans as they are so cool for big birds 🙂

It was the Avian Flu that did for them. About 80% died. Hopefully, as many are left, they will recover.

It really is. But I hear that seabirds that dock in the UK for the summer are in even more of a parlous state.

That is even sadder. I wonder if the migratory birds will bring Avian disease here
