Last Photo for April 2024
Your last photo doesn’t have to be on the very last day of the month if you didn’t take any photos on that day. Maybe it was earlier in the month when the last photo was taken.
So let’s see what you have for April
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 30th or whenever your last photo was taken.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Use the tags The Last Photo and #LastOnTheCard
Here’s mine. Last months photos were another mixed bag. Thanks for everyone who has kept my enthusiasm up to continue with some great Last Photos
From my Samsung Galaxy S23FE
From my Canon PowerShot SX70HS
From my Canon EOS 1300D
That’s a cool assortment of photos, Brian. Happy May.
As promised, here’s my story inspired by your bright yellow door. Cheers.

oh no one else has asked yet – so I will ask. What did you capture with your Canon EOS 1300D?!

Purple potatoes. They were in the fruit and veg shop and I have never used them. Apparently are best in mash or dishes where a softer potato is used.

I nearly said potatoes! I often have red ones, but don’t see purple potatoes very often. I do like purple carrots 🙂

I have a rainbow of baby carrots. Amazing. Not keen on the white ones though, not carroty enough.
Well you’re no help with a recipe for the potatoes 😁

Agree about the white carrots, and hee hee well the red ones are lovely mashed but even better roasted!

I have been using Kipfler potatoes to roast 😋

ah we don’t tend to get those appearing here despite them originating in Europe

A great trio. I was glad to have my suspicion that the last one was spuds confirmed. You’re sharing this post with Becky, so I have broken the rules – AGAIN…. https://margaret21.com/2024/05/01/new-life-2/

True. My favorite time to photograph them in Illinois was when there was dew or rain on them. Not only could you see all of them but they looked fantastic. Not much dew or rain here. Lol.

I have been known to somehow have a spray bottle of water and accidentally get a few drops onto a web but only if no one is home 😁

Splendid selection Brian. Not often we get to see photos of potatoes! I couldn’t pass up the chance to double dip with squares today: https://grahamsisland.com/2024/05/01/safety-firstand-last/

Thanks Graham. Not many people sing the praise of the simple spud 😂 Great to double dip as well 👍😀

Glad Becky asked about the purple potatoes. I could have guessed ’til the cows come home’ and would still not guessed correctly. Great photos as usual, Brian 😊

Love the photos and having read the comments I think I know what everything is ☺️ Off to see what on earth my last photo was; hoping it’s not a toe with a blister again.

Thanks Maria 🥰 I don’t know, a blister might interest some of the readers 😂

Unfortunately it was something unshareable. Better luck next time, I hope!

Oh it wasn’t my toe! And it wasn’t even a blister this time. Just a scruffy list I photographed but lists can also be a bit revealing of other people’s business!

I am going to post the really good photo of that spider web, if people like that one, their eyeballs will fall out of their sockets.
Imagine if your eyeballs actually did come out, all you’d see is your feet…….or depending on size, maybe your boobs……or your beer belly 😂
