Last Photo for January 2024
Your last photo doesn’t have to be on the very last day of the month if you didn’t take any photos on that day. Maybe it was earlier in the month when the last photo was taken.
So let’s see what you have for 31st January
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st January or whenever your last photo was taken.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Use the tags The Last Photo and #LastOnTheCard
Here’s mine. Last months photos were last photos are fairly ordinary.
From my Samsung Galaxy S9
From my Canon PowerShot SX70HS
From my Canon EOS 1300D
Not sure if this is my first time joining this challenge but here is my entry https://wanderingteresa.com/angels-trumpet/

Nice selection Brian – Looks like you’ll be having Pineapple for dessert soon😎👍 Here’s my ‘Lasts’ – https://2e0mca.wordpress.com/2024/02/01/last-on-the-card-january-2024/

I’m just waiting for it to turn yellow and hope the possums don’t find it first. Trouble is as it ripens it smells like pineapple for about a one meter radius. If I can smell it I guess every other bird and animal that wanders through the garden can too 🙄

Nice pineapple; we don’t see those growing wild up here!!! Here’s mine: https://jezbraithwaite.blog/2024/02/01/last-on-the-card-january-2024/

It fits into the palm of your hand. Small but tasty 🙂

Are you growing your own pineapple, Brian? Jealous 😂. Might be a bit late this time. My Dad’s on the hospital after an emergency op and everything else has gone out the window. Although I do have time to check my phone while he’s sleeping 😴

That’s not good Maria, I hope your Dad is comfortable.
That pineapple plant has been in the garden for a long time and this is the 4th or 5th pineapple. I have to be quick to get it before the animals and birds find the pineapple 🙂

I’m so impressed about the pineapples. I can imagine all the creatures love them! Thank you – my dad is fairly comfortable and doing very well for his 91 years.

Love the “ordinary ” as it’s definitely not my ordinary!

Thank you. By ordinary I meant not that good. Out of focus mainly 😀

I love seeing them flower and then the little thing just grows, not very big. Luckily there has been lots of rain and hot days 🙂

Your last on the card shots always look great, Brian, love the little pinapple. I’m cheating a bit this week and submitting a “first on the card” shot of a statue of a heron (that goes with my bird-feeding theme this week). You’re welcome. Yes, we’re having a nice winter compared to last year. I knock on wood every time I say that though as we have a few months to go before we can say it won’t snow anymore!
