They are carnivorous. More chance of bing eaten if you are a mouse, a lizard, a snake or insect.

One like this looked so cute (big head = childlike) in the zoo. Then it got fed with dead chicklets. 🤢

We have a riot of them around here, although we don’t see them, we certainly hear them – every morning and every evening.
