We have plenty of bollards in France generally to keep people from parking where they shouldn’t. These are so much nicer.

Well, “bollards” is a new word for me Brian. They are really being cautious here with so many bollards – either being proactive or someone’s vehicle went where it shouldn’t have (which happens here quite often accidentally or on purpose).

What did you call them before bollards?

I don’t honestly think I’ve ever heard of a name for them. But we have them and often because people put their foot on the gas, not the brake and rip into buildings or crash into a boardwalk then into the water.
