Last on the Card – October 2023

Last Photo for October 2023

Your last photo doesn’t have to be on the very last day of the month if you didn’t take any photos on that day. Maybe it was earlier in the month when the last photo was taken.

So let’s see what you have.

The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st October or whenever your last photo was taken.
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Use the tags The Last Photo and #LastOnTheCard

Here’s mine. Thanks to everyone who faithfully have already posted theirs while I was away for a few days and only had blank spaces instead of my Last Photos.

  1. But where be the pictures? Is this your tease or is WordPress behaving badly again? Anyway, you got three from me this month. I took SO many pictures this month, I didn’t get around to pulling these cards. Post will be up shortly.

    1. It’s a food truck so that have achieved that aim haven’t they. It was closed when I took the photo and I didn’t know it was a food truck.
On the way home today I saw the other side as I drove past 🍿🍔🥪☕🫖

  2. That first photo, the silver, is so intense and cool with the double white reflection. Looks like it was fresh polished! The last one looks out of place with the other two.

    1. Thanks Martin, the shine really said take a photo 😁 That is a new Begonia in my collection. The train photos were an afterthought so too rushed….point and click. Some were OK

  3. I like the train photo. It conveys the impression of the hurly burly of subway travel even if the people aren’t there. The trailer is awesome. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything that shiny!

    1. Thanks Graham, not anything that shiny except for some of sculptures I went to Sydney to see 🙂 I like that train too. All of the station exits are in the middle of the station so either end was vacant as it was just after peak hour

  4. I like last October your trio. It’s very happening.

I don’t take as many photos as I used to. In October I only held my camera on three days. The last photo I’m happy with. Plus I got into the final issue of Visual Verse! It made me happy, no matter the subject matter. Here it is.

    1. Thanks Shelley. After polishing you would find it hard to relax inside as it is a food truck!! But you could make a fine cup of tea and sit beside the busy highway and relax to the thundering of trucks whizzing past 😂

  5. Oh that shiny trailer! I wanted to know more about it – what is it and how can anything be (or stay) that shiny? Something of a transport theme with the first two. I like the composition with the moving train. And I like the leaf, which might not be going anywhere but has lovely textures and colours.

    1. Thank you. I hadn’t noticed that I had a “theme” going on. It does seem to be it happens a bit with my last photos. If that shiny food truck is still there when I am that way next, I’ll get more photos. That is my last Begonia purchase 🙂
