Last Photo for May 2021
Thank you to everyone who showed us their last photos for April. There were some new contributors which is lovely. I have fun and hope you do as well as this challenge is all about fun. Thank you to everyone who contributes their good and not so good photos. Like a lot of people I forget and am surprised at what was the last photo on the three devices I use to take photos.
So let’s see what you have for May 2021
The rules are simple:
1. Post the last photo on your SD card or last photo on your phone for the 31st May
2. No editing – who cares if it is out of focus, not framed as you would like or the subject matter didn’t cooperate.
3. You don’t have to have any explanations, just the photo will do
4. Create a Pingback to this post or link in the comments
5. Tag “The Last Photo”
Here’s mine

I’ve been waiting for your post, Brian π Nice last photos this month – I love that bottlebrush π₯°

Thanks Clare. Sorry to keep you waiting but I have decided to do it later so the northern hemisphere folk can’t do a sneaky photo π
It looks like a bottlebrush but it is a paperbark π π

It’s still delightful, and those pesky NH folks are sneaky. You have to watch them.

Heavens, that’s kept you busy, Brian! π π I guess you can say this challenge is a definite success! π I really like that friendly looking tap! Just had a swift look at my camera and my last would have been a wonky shot of a local church, taken from the car window yesterday. You’re not missing anything there! It seems ages since that six word post. What a month May has been! Take good care of yourself, and I’ll see you around.

I would love a wonky last photo Jo. That would make the whole challenge what it is all about. Pity you are busy with life and death. Always thinking of you β€

Thanks, darlin! Life and death is right π π Off to feed Marie’s cat soon.

At the moment it’s getting well fed but I think when Will comes it will be a trip to the vets. They love cats but it’s feral and you couldn’t really give it to anyone. Nor do I want it sitting on my doorstep looking accusing πππ

Yes, what are you going to do with that blessed cat? You won’t want it, too much hassle when you want to go away on the spur of the moment, and I am guessing family won’t want to take it back to the UK. Wasn’t it a feral cat originally?

Ah, now you are getting clever, copying all the participant’s links – Becky must be influencing you – but you have probably discovered that it takes a LOT of time! I used to do this on my bench challenge (2015) but quickly realised that it was easier to select just a handful, and then I stopped doing it altogether on future challenges.
I see you have been playing in the kids park again! And I love the bottlebrush, a very pretty colour, almost, but not quite one of the purple shades.
Have I got one for you? Well yes, we did actually go out yesterday and I took lots of photos, but the last one is very boring (a label) so I may have to cheat and give you two!
LikeLiked by 2 people
I did that and yes the last time ever. It was labourious and time consuming to showcase what had been done last month. I wonder how many people actually look at them all anyway. Yes I was playing in the park. My besties grand daughters 4th birthday. The Paperbark tree flowers are a deep maroon but the camera decided I didn’t need that colour!!!
I am looking forward to your last photo(s) Jude π π

I suspect not many people look at the links. We just don’t have time. Obviously we see the posts of those people we follow anyway. I’ll put up my post later – gotta take OH for a blood test now, then food shopping!

I wish that clever thing WP had with their daily challenge was available for us folks, would make pingbacks so much easier!
LikeLiked by 1 person
I don’t think I will do that again as the number of people are growing. So many have said they saw Last on the Card on other peoples blogs and have joined in. I am sure the is a mathematical ratio for that π π
LikeLiked by 1 person
Don’t blame you, it is a lot of work and for a monthly one not sure of the benefits because as you say most do spot them elsewhere. I only do it for the squares because with daily it is so easy to miss people

and if people want to, like I do a lot, is look at the pingbacks in the comments

It is a Paperbark flower. They look very much like Bottlebrush and some Tea Trees as well.
