Becky’s Square Photo Challenge: Square Perspective
Here’s what it’s all about
“To join us create your square post, and include a pingback to one of my daily square posts and use the theme’s tag – SquarePerspectives. I’d love it if you also left a comment, conversations with you make the challenge so much fun.
Now to get you started here are a few perspective definitions;
- Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
- Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
- Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
- Vista – seeing something over distance or time
I will be sharing a square daily and I’d love it if you did the same. You can though join us weekly or even just pop in occasionally with your squares. The frequency of your squares depends on you and your blog. The only absolute rule for joining in is that your main photograph must be square in shape!”
I am having my whole property fenced as the devastating fire last December burnt out most of my fences, around 2kilometers. I haven’t taken any photos of what’s been done so far unfortunately. This afternoon I thought that my unfinished front fence was a good start to Becky’s Square Photo Challenge.
Sorry to hear about the bush fires affecting you.. I hope you get your fence built soon..best of luck

Nice choice for openers. That’s a lot of work in that fence, especially cutting out all the rail holes.

Thanks Graham 🙂 I am glad I am not doing the fencing for once. I did fences almost 30 years ago now. Too old for that work now especially as a lot of the fences are up and down gullies.

I used to do fences and gates, patios and paths, and it’s hard work. I liked the work, but my back was less keen.

Yes quite Elaine. I am glad it’s not me doing it 🙂

That’s quite some job! But a wooden fence? I’d have thought concrete and steel.

I have lots and lots of trees on my place. Cost me about 1/10 of concrete and steel. That fence will last around 50 years

But what about bush fires?

Try not to think about fires. The fences were there for over 30 years since I built them. Last years fires were unprecedented.

OK. Let’s hope there isn’t a recurrence. Once in a lifetime is enough. Australia has suffered enough from extreme weather in recent years.

The Roman numerals give your fence posts a nice historic touch, Brian! 😁 And you can never go wrong with the Stones! 😄

Made me laugh Sarah. Now I wish I did have Roman numerals on my fence. I could probably find a Stones song to go with most of my posts 🤔👍😀😀
