Last night Our Moon was so wonderful and bright I kept thinking of
getting a few photos. As the night went on I finally thought it was
about time to be out in the moonlight once again to reinvigorate this
Child of the Moon.
At first I saw the clouds and was a bit disappointed that I didn’t go out
earlier in the night.
But then I saw this. The dark shapes on either side are trees and Our Moon
in a patch of wonder. To all those who tell me that their Moon photos are
white blobs, mine can be too.

The white blob with the aura that made me take lots of photos

Later on the clouds opened a bit more so the white blob now has features
smiling at you from afar.

Getting closer to the centre, the drifting clouds making shapes.

Isn’t the blue haze just beautiful

“She shivers, by the light she is hidden
She flickers like a lamp lady vision
Child of the moon, rub your rainy eyes
Child of the moon
Give me a wide-awake crescent-shaped smile”
Songwriters: Keith Richards / Mick Jagger
