The word prompt for the photo challenge from Sue at Weekly Prompts: Top of the Hill
Dots of sunlight.
The gathering storm.
In the distance
blue sky
blue hills
Darkness approaches.
The chill breeze
sends shivers.
The sound of
distant thunder,
the smell of rain.
Shall we stay
on the top of the hill,
or run back
to the shelter
and warmth.
I want to stay
and keep drinking
the view
from the top of the hill.
Keep drinking that in….

Oh wow! I know I’ve said this before but you are so lucky to live where you do. Beautiful scenery.

Thank you Jo 🙂 The words started to come as I put the photo in the post. It was originally just going to be a photo 🙂

Thank you! Top of the World – What a picture! I enjoyed your poem too and I’m delighted you chose words and pictures, I thought it was only me who liked to do that. You certainly live in a beautiful place, a room with a view, wow! Thank you again for joining us on Weekly prompts Brian, lovely to have you. 🙂
