The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #98: Delicate Colours
Sorry for the haphazard photos. Yes the block editor has me going grrrr……Adding multiple photos as individual photos will be the end of especially when it comes to my mo9nthly wrap-up. Oh well it will get easier and I will persevere. I might try to add a song
Beautiful photos, Brian. Such lovely soft colours. Also, well done you on making the transition. I haven’t yet.

If you saw how many flamingos I have around the house, you’d understand why I thought it looked familiar!

Probably almost as many as I have elephants unless you have moved to a wetland 😀

So you are trying the new editor? I haven’t…postponing as long as I can…Delicate pinks, greens and blues, Brian! Absolutely love the landscape colours – and a pink mushroom?
Wishing you a great week.

Thank you A-C 🙂 Yes though I would try again but to post lots of photos in full rather than the gallery view is time consuming. Have a fab week too 🙂

Ooo … such delicate lovelies you shared. Are those pink mushrooms? I see that the Twenty – Twenty update ran on my blog, but somehow I can wait until 6/1 to use it? Therefore, I’m waiting until June 1st to jump on board with the new version. In a weird feeling kind of way, it seems that being forced to do something is the way of life going forward, maybe WordPress started the virus after all? (insert snide face).

Thanks Shelley 🙂 yes lovely pink fungi. I am trial;ling as much as I can so I can be a bit better prepared especially for my big end of month posts. Classic editor will still be around for a while. I hope it gets easier for everyone as I would hate to loose some of the fab bloggers I follow now. 🙂

You’re welcome. I trialed the version a few times, and I really missed the photo editor from the Classic version. If I stay blogging, I guess I’ll figure it out. Good luck with your end of the month post!

The gallery view isn’t all that flash and relies on people to click to look at the bigger version. It’s a time thing I guess

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think you’re on to something about the time thing!

I had a go at using the gallery for photos. People have to click on the photo to see the full image. My end of month posts can be between 25 to 50 photos. No one would spend that amount of time I think.

I’ve tried the gallery before too. It’s hard to tell what people will do or not, your photos are great, I’d guess many would spend the time to look at all of them!

Awww thanks Shelley 🙂 I am getting my head around using the editor. The more I do the easier it gets. We’ll see how my wrap for May goes as my monthly posts are rather big 🙂

I hate SquareSpace because of block editor, so really not looking forward to June and its appearance here. It makes sense for commercial websites but not for blogging 😦

Very nice colors. The pink fungi is quite lovely. I’ve been using the new editor for quite a while and it’s not ideal. I don’t do any photo editing in WordPress, just bring them in and put them in place, but that’s more tedious and trickier now. Like you, I don’t want to use gallery view. I just want a simple layout of the full photos. Also, my theme hasn’t been supported in so long that I don’t know if that’s part of the problem. Time for a change all round I guess.

Thanks Graham 🙂 I don’t edit photos in WP, sorry my weird explanation. I like the selection of how to post photos in classic. Tedious is the word
