We’ve got a second-hand bookshop here in Upper Hutt, too. Three walls are entire, rows are in the middle, and heaps are stacked on each other. Books are nicely catalogued.

It may look like a jumble of books, but I’ll bet the proprietor of the shop could hone in and find a title if you asked him/her for a certain subject. We had a small shop nearby like that. People were devastated when the owner passed away suddenly and no family members were willing to take it over. In an age of Amazon and big box stores, this was a real treasure.
