  1. Wow – fire engine red and under the hood is spotless! We have a large classic car cruise that goes through several cities the end of June. The main drag for the event is near my house, so I go up to watch for a while. There is a group of Mustang owners and they gather in one spot at Memorial Park for “Ponies in the Park” where they all raise their hoods. Clean as a whistle always.

      1. Those “Pony” owners are eager to show off their cars and rattle off the stats. Here is a link to a few of the Mustangs … I’ll put it in a separate comment. You’ll have to scroll thru the vintage B&W me pics to see them. They all have fun license plates too.

        1. Thanks Brian. 🙂 It was a really long Wordless Wednesday post – not as vintage as your cars, though (even me). There was a 90th anniversary celebration of the Model A that I went to in 2018. It was a lot of fun. Owners gathered in a park and there were lots of photo ops. A few vehicles had their original paint job, including a pickup truck that the inside of the roof was actually the wooden shipping crate from Sears Roebuck & Company that the car arrived in. I enjoyed myself and the owners were glad to show off their car, inside and out and under the hood, especially if you’re toting a camera.
