the historical share is great – I have never seen a letter box – and in red it is striking.
and your photo has an inviting angle with the two red signs upper left and then the windows and the street curb bringing in perspective – lastly, the empty street makes us wonder where the people are

Thank you Yvette 🙂 It was the best of a few photos taken. The red letter boxes used to be all over the place so people could post their letters. Pull the handle down to open up a bit more if you had a parcel to post. The street is empty as it is a part of Sydney where not many people wander and it was a Sunday morning.
