Ludwigs Monday Window
Another photo from my Sydney trip. The Centrepoint Tower, as I knew it,
now Sydney Tower Eye (insert stupid name sheesh – Sydney Tower Bucket
would be better 😂) has been an attraction in Sydney for over 30 years
and the second-tallest observation tower in the Southern Hemisphere at
309 metres. At the top is a revolving restaurant.
From the windows you get a 360 degree view of Sydney.

Have you ever eaten there?
I doubt I’d be comfortable with such a height. 🙂

If you are in the middle you don’t know but window seats are expensive

It was almost a tradition with us to visit the tower every time we came to Sydney (rarely) but my sister thinks that the view is not as good now as there are so many new buildings that block the view of the harbour to some extent.

That would be the case for sure 🙂

Those revolving restos used to be quite the thing but less fashionable now, Too queasy-making?

At one revolution an hour I hardly think queasy. Maybe if it was one revolution a minute 🤔😂

Fair point! But they’re still no longer popular I think.

Such buildings, and restaurants, are fun. It has been years since I have been in one of them, but I always enjoyed the experience.

I like the Sydney Tower Bucket idea. You should pop that into their suggestion box. That little ledge out to the side with the railing – there’s no way I’d step out on that!

It also costs a lot of money to do that anyway. Some stupid skywalk adventure or some such other silly name
