Sandstone building

The Mid-Week Monochrome – MWM 17: Stone Clad Building

When the City near my place, Grafton, was first settled there was an abundance of sandstone. Important buildings were built using sandstone. This building was one of the first banks in the city.

Kitchen

Frank’s word prompt Kitchen had me thinking. I love this kitchen.

Many years ago a good friend and neighbour built his cabin from stone. He moved when he married and his house slowly disintegrated as his brother had his own dwelling on the property. Prior to  the new owners moving in, I went for a look around to see what was left of the house. This is Gary’s kitchen.
