I love Our Moon

Clouds with rain in the distance – extra credit photo 🙂

One of my favourite reflection photos

A little bee riding her horse at the Glen Innes show in the dress-up parade – extra credit photo as she is with her Mum 🙂

Models walking through Rome and I have no idea what they were advertising – extra credit as they are using their umbrellas 🙂

In the fire truck on their way to a fire or emergency – extra credit as you can see the driver 🙂

I don’t really have any Autumn leaves as I don’t really have Autumn here. These leaves are Autumn leaves in Lyon

Something I found on a walk on my place after the fires. First time I have ever seen Purple Fringe Lillies here.

It was fun going through my folders on this treasure hunt. A great idea Tina

Lens-Artists Challenge #183: Memorable Events

I have been trying to think of something for this challenge. I have something that will always stick in my mind.

Almost ten years ago I convinced my bestie to travel with me to Europe. I had been a few years before and just had to go back and find some new places and re visit some places I had been before.

We took off from Australia, travelling via South Korea, we landed in Rome at midnight. A driver picked us up and we went to our accommodation, a Wimdu shared place. Wimdu was an AirBnB type of accommodation finder. The people were lovely and Alba and Mauritsio welcomed us into their home.

The next day we caught the bus to the city centre and once at the Termini, we started walking. We stopped at the Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore and then walked on.

Rounding the corner there was the Colosseum. I shall never forget the look on her face when she first saw this wonderful building. This shall live with me forever .
