What was Paula thinking in setting a photo challenge with the word prompt Imitation Follow the link to find other great example of imitation.
What would I possibly find to suit this challenge. Well my faithful readers, I did find a few so look on with wonder at the imitation in bushboys world (insert laughing face here). I think this deserves a slideshow as I couldn’t explain some of these photos.
Hope you had as much fun as I did in finding my Imitations

What a weekend!! Decided to go to Brunswick Heads for breakfast….well a late breakfast….and after getting into Bruns, found that my favourite “secret” parking spot, under the trees, was gone….as was parking in general.
What is going on? A glance towards the sky soon resolved the mystery……it was the Kites and Bikes Festival. Yep, all around were all manner of folk on decorated bikes, bikes of all descriptions….even a six wheeler with room for three people to peddle!! Plus small children on the own bikes all tarted up, some trailing their little kites or the parents trotting along beside loaded up with kites, picnic baskets, blankets and folding chairs.
Once a yummy breakfast in Conti…..my favourite place for brekkie in Brunswick Heads…was eaten, we headed down to the river and beach to see the vast array of kites.
There were so many kites of all sorts shapes and colours…….so lets have a look at a few shall we?
The Tiger had good reason to have a concerned look on its face….too close to the trees!!! But it did look like the kite was stalking the bloke in the tree who came to save it
There was a dragon whizzing around the sky………
The frog was just wonderful as it hopped about…….
But my favourite was the dog…..its little feet swung about and the ears just flapped in the breeze……..
Even the afternoon storm building didn’t keep the smile off the little orange smiley kite
So, that was the day of kites…..so many kites of all sizes flown by people of all sizes, ages and everyone had a great time.
