Lost in Translation’s Pick a Word January 2022
Well Paula has really given me a test this time with her fabulous words. Let’s see what I can conjure from my photos this month.
I hope I have done well.
Debbie’s One Word Sunday: Time
Cee’s March Alphabet: Letters Ch or Ck in the the word
One of my all time favourite songs to listen while you have a look at what I found for Cee’s Mid Week Madness Challenge
Where to begin? I guess a few birds are in order. I did get a bit lazy and didn’t name everything but if you want to know a bit more drop me a comment and I’ll give it a go.
I did a bit of digging and found there are a lot more than I first thought. I had to include an old favourite at the end
Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Anything made from wood
The Weekly Prompts Photo Challenge: Clock The Time
These words came to mind when I saw this challenge. My quote for the challenge – can you guess who said this?
“I’m late, I’m late! For a very important date! No time to say ‘hello, goodbye,’ I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!”
Of course it has nothing to do with my images of some timepieces I have clocked.
A bit of Aussie Rock from the past
Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Letters or Numbers
If the big black bull is number 2, I wonder who is number 1?
Here is some numbers which are also letters
Oh how could I resist this photo challenge from Nancy: Squares and Circles
“This week’s challenge is all about mixing squares and circles. Photography is a rectangular activity. Even though our lenses are round, the output is not. You can create a round image using post-processing methods. You can also create a round image using scissors on a print (very old-fashioned). I used the cropping tool in Photoshop to put my round pie into a square.”
Perhaps I was attracted by the thought of Nancy’s pie
“For anyone who is interested: my pie is a take on a blueberry sour cream pie recipe that I found online.”
Enough of the prologue, thanks for the challenge Nancy, let’s see what I can come up with and find some circles in squares. Stop laughing Becky. Mmmm pie 🙂
Trying to think about Debbies quotation-inspired image photo challenge. What can you conjure up from the quotation below
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Stephen Hunt (British author)
Perhaps a clock image?
or a clock that may not work
Or something broken
or a broken shell
perhaps some street art
Still thinking? So am I
