Aletta from nowathome nominated me for this weekly photo challenge
Feel free to join in this photo challenge (everyone is welcome). Show your best photos, but let’s make this tricky to guess where the photos are taken.
If you participate in this photo challenge, this is what you need to do:
- Post one of your favourite photos each week for four weeks. It is a monthly challenge but as I started in the middle of the month, four weeks is what I am doing.
- The photo can be from any time and anywhere, so start sifting through those old memories and photo albums.
- Post the photo without any explanation and ask your readers where they think the photo was taken for a little guessing fun.
- Nominate someone each Sunday. You can post wherever you wish although please link to me, so that I know you have accepted the #photochallenge. Today I am nominating Donna from Wind Kisses who has some of the most stunning US hiking scenery photos.

It’s that time again for my favourite Photo Challenge. Let’s see what photos I can find to satisfy Paula’s wonderful words
How did I go?
Becky’s Square Photo Challenge: #SquareUp
So many people have looked up to Antoni Gaudi posting images of the wonderful Segrada Familia that I couldn’t not join in. I have been there twice and from the first time, a dusty plastic covered workplace to am amazing inside space with so much going on it’s hard to stop taking photos.
Enjoy a bit of a song as you have a look around
Let’s go up Barcelona to the Sagrada. First stop is looking up to the stained glass window of a huge variety of colours and hues
The stained glass windows reflect colour all throughout the building – on the columns, walls and floor.
Looking up to the ceiling is a treat for the eyes. The organic feel of the Sagrada is never more evident than in those tree like columns reaching up to the stars
Weekly Prompts Wednesday: Street People
Usually I don’t take images of street people but this poor woman in Barcelona a few years ago just made me go wow. This could be in the streets of your town……

The word prompt from Frank at Dutch goes the Photo: Floor
A few floors for you
The word prompt from Nancy: Reflection
So many photos with a reflection from glass or water but this time something different
The reflection from the stained glass windows onto the polished floor of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
The wonderful colours that showered the building from the windows, fell onto the floor
The reds that flowed into greens
and turned again with yellow highlights
