Trying not to go on with too much. I looked back as best I could and
found a couple of my first posts for Cee’s Photo Challenges.
The first one is for Odd Balls, a wonderful chance to show the unusual
you find.
An Eastern Yellow Robin, a red reflector and a yellow bin lid
“Excellent choice for odd balls this week. Thanks. 😀”

I soon discovered Flower of the Day. Cee liked the yellow rose.
“This is one happy rose.”

The last FOTD bought a similar response where Cee was able to respond
to a beautiful Siskiyou.
“Beautiful photo in pink 😀”

I couldn’t leave the flowers without a Dahlia, one of Cee’s favourites.

The red Corvette was waiting for a prompt so I happy to be able to let it out.

One of the editing processes Cee told me about was selective colour.
I have been using it ever since.

It was Cee and Paula’s black and white challenges that bought me back to
my love of B&W photos.
We don’t really have barns in Australia around where I live, but I can
always find a shed

I couldn’t leave without a bridge. Another photo that Cee liked

Like many people, Every now and then I will post flowers for two friends.
For my “little sister” Cee. Cee called me an older brother and for Bren who
hosted Floral Friday.
Bren lost her life to cancer only 6 months after the first diagnosis. Bren
and I often emailed and chatted about life in England and life here in
Australia.
With both Cee and Bren, it was we should catch up one day….one day
Thanks to Dan and Marsha for their thoughts on their birthday too.

This is such a wonderful tribute to Bren and Cee

That was a nice tribute to your blogging buddies, very heartfelt. I liked the pictures too, so vibrant and I laughed at that little butter-colored bum on the bird too. 🙂

Thanks for this warm and heartfelt tribute, Brian, and for these lovely photos. Cee helped me with photography and with blogging. She led by example while sending a message that we are all welcome in this community. I met so many bloggers through Cee’s challenges, and I learned much from her. I miss her, and I am honored to carry on her CFFC challenge, and I deeply appreciate your support of that challenge and your presence in this community.

Beautiful photos and a lovely tribute. Cee was a special person though most never got chance to meet her. I always remember how much she loved the below post (she chose as a winner in one of her contests) telling me it made her laugh every time she looked at it. I hope she is laughing now in a far more beautiful place filled with flowers xxo

It has been quite moving to read all of the post and see wonderful photos that Cee would have adored. Of all social media, blogging has the most caring and wonderful people.

She loved you to pieces, BB. We used to chat once a week for about a year, and rarely a conversation went by without your name gracing our computer screens. I think Oddball Challenge was my favorite of all times. I love your selective color. I have not used it very much, and it is so distinctive. Love your red car! Wow! What a beautiful collection, and I love that you included her comments.

Thank you ever so much for saying that Marsha. I loved her as well.
Odd Balls was a firm favourite. Find the weird and wonderful to share was so much fun.
I am so happy you enjoyed my selections and I smiled as I found Cee’s comments. I do miss my little sister 🥲

She was easy to love. I remember when I interviewed you once, she told me that she had to be included on the conversation. I think we used her zoom link because she had a longer time on her plan. I don’t remember much more, only how excited she was. You have a similar footprint in the blogosphere as Cee. You work so hard to get around to everyone, and you have such great pictures to share. You are like two sides of a coin.

That is lovely for you to say Marsha. It was her Zoom as I didn’t have one at the time.
I find it is important to be able to reply to all comments and to see what others are up to as much as I can.
Living in an isolated area and not much social contact, WP is a godsend as well as so much fun

I agree. When I started, we lived in a rural area. Then we moved to an area we didn’t know anyone, then to another part time. Now we’re back to our home base but in the city. So we are sort of starting over.
