Reflections are the added bonus. It was better the shop across the street than me 😂

Great photo Brian! An fine looking door with lots of contrasts, the reflection in the glass versus the non reflective top section and the superbly done brick/stone work around the door…excellent image. Thank you. Cheers.

Nothing better than clean windows. Lovely door and reflection, Brian. What is that ‘Smith’ place across the street?

It is rather clean glass in the doors. I cannot remember what the Smith shop is 🤔 I can recall some of the shops but can’t think specifically which one that is and don’t have a photo sorry Lois.

Nice door. I like the reflection in it and the stonework around it.

Thanks Graham. The stone work in the 19th Century was quite good. The stone was quarried across the river.

That’s a wonderful looking door and a great photo, Brian. Is that a corner door? I love the reflection.

Thanks Dan 😀 Clean glass always gives a bonus reflection.
It is a corner door. I would have to stand in the street to get a full photo but I think I should go down to Maclean and try as it’s a wonderful old building.

We need signs and flashing lights that would allow us to stop traffic to get those photos,

I love this Classical Revival style, its balanced, symmetrical design. I bet the transom window welcomes a nice breeze. Nice door, Brian.

I do think they are the original doors from the 19th Century restored so well.
