Dan’s CFFC: Dusk
Not sure what I could have for dusk but the blue hour is the best time if you can get a photo or two.
I have one that is a favourite of mine with the blue hour.

Other times the world turns purple

Sometimes with an orange hue

or just totally orange

Muted tones can take over

Perhaps a pastel sky instead of a blue hour

Chelsea Wolfe – Dusk

Love how the sky changes colours. Great shots, the blue is fantastic.

So do I. Every day seems so different although at the moment the grey clods make the evenings the same.
That blue hour photo was a one in a million chance

I knew you’d find something Brian, and these are great! That first photo is brilliant.

Thank you Dan. It was almost as plain as night and day or should I say dawn and dusk 😁

Beautiful gallery Brian. I like them all. That second one with the trees and the sky in purple and pinks…fantastic.

The first and second photo–same tree? The blue hour is the best time. Very pretty.

Ach, those colors! And I love tree silhouettes! Our household has recently developed a dusk routine… we sit together on the back porch and watch the various solar-powered lights come on as the evening darkness descends. We have path lights, hanging lanterns, strings of lights in the rose bushes and around the tops of the decks/porches… so it takes a while for all the lights to come on. It is a peaceful and joyous routine.

That is a wonderful way to end the day Ed. Perhaps with an aperitif and conversation about the day past

Yes, a snifter of brandy/cognac or a few sips of Amaretto; or even just a nice cup of herbal tea. Conversation that highlights the bright spots – every day has some; even the spots that weren’t so bright can be held and considered until the brightness emerges.

Wonderful. Tea and biscuits or wine and snacks is always the best in the afternoon with good conversation or quiet contemplation
