Love the shadows in the first photo- the sun setting against the buildings. The cow a favorite too

Thanks Lisa 😀 I had a hard time picking evening shadows. The cow is a phone photo. I never expect them to turn out 😂

A fabulous gallery all, Brian.
And I love the corrugated metal shed by the railtracks, the weathered pattern is lovely.

These are great photos, Brian. I love the building along the tracks and the bridge. My favorite is the one of the six birds in flight. That’s a great capture.

Thank you ever so much Dan 😀 Those two photos are so different in spatial time and condition with a railway connection

Lovely evening light in these shots and beautiful sunsets too! I like the second one best, it’s very mysterious 😲

Thanks ever so much Sarah 😀 The light through curtains creating silhouettes can be mysterious

I am so glad you enjoyed my evening photos Nicole 😀 Sometimes a photo appears in my mind and I just have to get it while I can as the evening light changes quickly

Lovely. Early morning is my favorite time of day. Birds, sky, stillness, slanting light, shadows. Great shots, Brian!

Thank you ever so much Ed. That time of day can have the best light for photos

I love the 2nd one, Brian. Nice. Mysterious.

That photo is the mysterious choice of a lot of people. I enjoy taking that sort of photo where nothing is revealed clearly

Very peaceful scenes, especially the fishing boat – day is done, time to haul in the catch of the day. The first picture is tagging as things done in the night – yes, sadly true, especially here. The shadows were fun.

Thanks Linda. The fishing trawler was on it’s way out to do their fishing in the night. I don’t like tagging at all either

I didn’t realize they would fish overnight – well at least the birds won’t be flying around looking for handouts. A fellow blogger took a lot of photos in Alabama where the fisherman have huge shrimp boats and the Pelicans fly onto the boat rigs to try to get a bite.

The seabirds follow the trawler back to the marina as they toss the by-catch over the side and then the others gather as the boats unload

They try to sneak in a few fish unless the fishermen are generous with their catch.

Sneaky (and smart)! I always say that calling birds a “bird brain” is a misnomer. They are very intelligent.

Another thing that is true

An evocative collection. I, too, love the second one and the cow on the hill. Wasn’t that the first draft of a Beatles song?

Thanks Graham. That is my laugh for the day 😂
