Dan’s CFFC: Nursery Rhyme

This is sort of like Pick-a-Word

I’m sure most of us will remember the nursery rhyme I’ve chosen for this week’s challenge. There are many variation, but that’s not too important. Look at the rhyme as written and use any or all of the bold words as prompts. If the words are numbers, use them the way you used them earlier. Otherwise, use the words themselves. This should give you lots of opportunities to choose a photo. New or archive photos are acceptable.

One, two Buckle my shoe;
Three, four Knock(er) at the (Thursday) door;
Five, six Pick up sticks;
Seven, eight Lay them straight;
Nine, ten A big fat hen

Here’s my photos for the rhyme

One, two buckle my shoe

Three four knock at the door

Five six pick up sticks

Seven eight lay them straight

Nine ten a big fat hen

  2. Three four knock at the door… is my favorite, so cute and elegant, that fox, I wonder what material that is, also that bluish tint, which gives it its vintage touch somehow 🙂 Also, funny thing, in the “seven eight…” photo, that Gemini sign symbol on the pylons, looks a bit like on an ancient site or so

    1. Thanks Nicole 😀 The door knocker is brass so it naturally gets that patina. It is an old one.
      The marks were cut into my fence posts before they cut that out to put rails in
